The attitudes and practices of organized religion have a profound impact on internalized and externalized homophobia and social reform - from changes in the clergy to marriage and inclusion.

This 6th annual National Religious Colloquy is moderated by The Right Reverend Charles E. Bennison, Bishop, Episcopal Church Diocese of Pennsylvania, with panelists Rabbi Denise Eger, leader of gay inclusion in Reform Judaism; Daayie Abdullah, gay Islamic leader; Reverend Barry Stopfel, the first openly gay ordained Episcopalian priest; and Mary Hunt, Catholic author and Co-Director, WATER.

Sponsored by Calvary United Methodist Church, Congregation Beth Ahavah, Evangelicals Concerned, First Unitarian Church of Philadelphia, SILOAM Ministries, Tabernacle United Church, The Hermitage at Mahantango Spirit Garden, and The Metropolitan Community Churches.

Santorum voted for proposed legislation to create a national voucher program that would have diverted taxpayer dollars to religious schools. [More]
