Tim Gill

Tim Gill has led on the issue of GLBT philanthropy. A successful software entrepreneur and one of only two openly gay individuals on the Forbes 400 list, Gill is an active philanthropist. Through the Gill Foundation, Gill provides millions of dollars annually to gay and lesbian and HIV/AIDS organizations along with other charitable causes.

Gill is a longstanding advocate for civil rights. The Gill Foundation has funded the gay and lesbian movement by supporting hundreds of national and local organizations as well as social justice organizations and educational institutions. Gill was one of the first major contributors to the Colorado AIDS Project and local public radio and television.
