David Mixner helped
foster both the first meeting of the gay
and lesbian community with a United States
President and the creation of a gay liaison
in The White House.
David Mixner is a
corporate and political strategist, human
rights activist and leader for equal rights
for gay and lesbian Americans.
David Mixner was
a partner in Mixner/Scott, Inc., a public
affairs firm in California. Mixner worked
in over 75 state and national campaigns
as a manager or fund-raiser and served on
the Democratic National Committee.
Mixner's book, Stranger
Among Friends, details his life from
organizing the groundbreaking 1969 March
on Washington against the war in Vietnam
to being a consultant for Bill Clinton's
presidential campaign in 1992.
