MTV

MTV is the first network committed to honestly portraying gays and lesbians including their campaigns against homophobia, gay-bashing and unsafe sex. Their reality-television shows Real World and Road Rules have featured gays and lesbians.

In 1999, MTV received GLAAD's Fairness Award. In 2002, Equality Forum awarded its International Role Model Award to MTV citing, "MTV is a cable television network which has contributed to social change through its positive inclusion of GBLT issues in its programming."

In 2005, MTV will launch LOGO, a cable television network for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender viewers.
