 Why We Sing is a film about the transformative power of choral music and its importance in the GLBT civil rights movement. The film follows four choruses through the GALA Choruses’ 7th International Choral Festival in Montreal. Through song and interviews, the documentary explores a range of issues, including same-sex marriage, religious views on gay rights, and the transgender rights movement.
